Poll: How many current-gen consoles do you own and how many next-gen do you plan to own?

I guess I own two if you count the Dreamcast as part of the current-gen. I was always tempted to buy another but I barely have enough time to play Xbox as it is. I'll probably end up only owning one console in the next-gen unless I'm totally blown away by more than one.

I plan to get all 3, but I'm not sure if I have the time. I'm finishing up college and I could see myself starting a family in a couple years (ideally anyway).

What's odd is that even tho I own all the consoles and some 30-40 games for them, I find myself playing Warcraft 3 the most.

I have the jap dreamcast, don't really think it qualifies as current though. the next Xbox sure looks juicy

Dreamcast is the weakest, but a game like Soul Calibur is much closer to this generation than last.

The last console I owned was an Atari 2600. Seriously. And I'm tempted to get the XBox360 when it comes out. I mainly want it cuz it has wireless and can connect to my other pc's and allow me to share my music and play it on my home theater. Now I just need to get an hdtv...

I dont anything at all right now except an old virtual boy that I wanna ebay and TG-16 thats not hooked up. I used to have an N64 but gave it to my brother. I just use my roomates consoles when I want to play a game, we have an NES, PS2, Gamecube, and SNES in the front. PC is where its at for me, I dont plan on buying an consoles or handheld systems in the future.

I have an Xbox and Dreamcast. I haven't had motivation to play games recently (I suck at them anyway), so I might not buy any new ones, at least not until I finish what I have (Halo 2, for instance).

What's counted as current gen, including the XBox, PS2, and Gamecube? DS? PSP?

I havn't touched either of them in a while. I've been gaming on my PC.

Not sure about Next-Gen... i'll have to see. If I did get one, it would be Xbox2.

I own a PS2. my roommate owns an XBox.

it's too early to call whether or not I'll buy the next generation of playstations or xboxes. it all depends on whether or not each system can come out with compelling games that make me want to make the system investment in order to play them.

I haven't touched my PS2 since signing on to play World of Warcraft, though.
