Poll: How many CD's have you burned?

I've been around since the 2X $300 burner.

Now I got a 12X for 95. (After MIR if it ever comes.)

Rough guess for me? Over 500 less than 600.

I've been thru about 5-6 100 spindles, and a few 30 and 10 packs, started with a 4x about a yr ago., but i had 2 machines with burners that fast,
So I figure about 700.

Got my burner in August, when the 12/10/32A came out. I've gone through about 4 50-pack spindles and 2 or 3 10-packs. I have like 3 spindles on hand though for all my burning needs.

Probably about 500 total. All on my Ricoh 6x4x24. That's about 4 days of nonstop burning over the past 2.5 - 3 years This sucker's still kicking...I could use a faster one though.

Archiving MP3s, downloaded files, movies, simpson/family guy episodes, etc. Also copying music CDs, software, etc. Not all for me of course...lots for other people. What else are you gonna do with a burner? Backup your stuff every few months? bah.

actually, a friend of mine made up a copilation of songs of cd's he owned, then i made about a hun, and he used them as center pieces at his wedding.

I got my 2x for $250 about 2 years ago. I burned about 100 cd's on that one. I recently got the Iomega 12x for $90, and I have only burned about 25 so far on this one.
I just watch the DivX and delete em. No need to archive..and I only seldom burn other stuff. I paid for most of my music cd's..
So, My total overall is 125.

Only about 30. But my CD collection wasn't all that large at the time of my religious conversion.

At least 200 CDRs and CDRWs almost all made with an Acer 2X.

Fortunately, I just got a new HP 9350i 10x4x32 last week for $25 (after rebate) courtesy of the Hot Deals Forum. Finally game copy back-ups (at reasonable speed)!

have had my computer cd-burner for 3+ years, also had one of the first philips audio cd-recorders (boy that's when CD-RW discs where $30 a piece and CD-R discs $8 a pop!!)i now have 2 computers equipped with
cd-burners plus i still have that Philips unit!
i think i have burned something in the region of 400+

Me and my brother make alot of music CDs that we consequently give out to friends, and sometimes copies of those have to be made, etc. I also backup my files about once every 2 weeks, copy games and software, and I use cheap media to put files that are too big to be put on a floppy to give to friends.
