POLL: How many car accidents have you been in?

I've been in 9. I'm 25. 2 with father, 2 with mother, 3 myself, one in a cab, one with a friend. BTW I define "accident" as somebody even tapping your car. Thus mine ranged from no noticeable damage to semi-undrivable car damage.

Got hit on the Expressway in stop and go traffic. Idiot behind me was tailgating and then couldn't stop when everyone else did.

I also hit one of those moving trees once. Damn thing was bobbing and weaving all over the place and I couldn't avoid it.

1 Myself after 4 years of driving. Woman ran red light, I went kaboom.

0 My sister after 7 years.

Mother has....3. She likely also drives drunk, so I'm just waiting for her to kill herself.

Father, not sure,but I remember 0.

2. First one, my dad drove over the front end of some jackass making a uturn in the middle of a two lane road. We took our Suburu wagon and 19ft boat right over that guys hood.

In the second one, I backed into my ex-girlfriends (she was my ex at the time too) brand new car as she was attempting to drive up an icy hill. She had illegally parked in the road and was leaving as I was backing out of my driveway. Her car should have been gone, but instead I nailed it.

1): My first one I hit some lady at very slow speed driving my mom's truck so it was my fault. 2): Ran into a woman who ran a stop sign and totalled my car. 3): And the most recent was hydroplaning and flipping over in my Pathfinder with my entire familiy inside. Fortunately we all wear seat belts and nobody was hurt. Ahhh the good memories. NOT!

Actually after that hydroplaning accident I am very nervous about driving in the rain especially and will never be as complacent as I used to no matter what the driving conditions are. I see anything can truly happen at any time.

In high school I had a girl back her VW Rabbit into my '67 Pontiac Catalina. Really low speed but it did a number on the rear fender of her car. All I got was some of her paint on my front bumper.

If you included single vehicle accidents, I'd have to give you a different answer.

I have had three, the last one was a couple of years ago when a guy crossed three lanes of traffic to slam into the side of my car. All that just to get around a couple of semis a half a mile away. :|

3. One where we were waiting in line to get out of a fireworks show, and a jeep rolled into us while my dad was driving. Once where I bumped a car in a parking lot when I was 16 or 17 and I was driving. One other time when I bent up my front fender on my car when I hit my Dad's car in our driveway (I was sick with the flu, was dizzy, and moving the car in the snow.)

Just one and not my fault. FedEx driver decided to back into my car without checking to see if anyone was behind them. Took forever to get those yahoos to pay for the damage.

2: on a m/c, all my fault, droped it at speed & hit no one.

1: I was hit & run while riding m/c.

2: While driving a car, once rear ended bad and the other I was just tapped.

2. First one after I had just learned to drive. I was turning left on a yellow light and somebody hit me coming the other way. I would've claimed they needed to stop, but I got a ticket for failure to yeild on a left turn. The second one I lost a front blinker to a trailer hitch. Couldn't quite stop in time.

i was 10 and we were in a head on. someone crossed teh line to avoid slamming into someone stopped to make a turn and creamed us. totaled our suburban

was driving with my sister and we soun out on some ice and plowed into a snow bank and took out a fence post

I was involved in three accidents totalled two cars all was my fault.

Two.

One was into a large ditch.Tthe other was some person rear ended me while we were at a stop light, she thought it had turned green and so it was very low impact accident. No damage to my Vitara, but I have a bike bracket that uses the inner part of the spare tire with a 6 inch piece of metal sticks out and she put a nice dent into the hood of her car.

Only one, totalled my very first vehicle ('88 Toyota pickup with duct tape holding the bed together). It was a sad day...:beer:
