Hopefully, in the fall. Apparently, the HSSEAS only "recommended" me for Engineering@UCLA, not "accepted me." I called them, and they replied that I "wasn't rejected" but they can't say I "was accepted" either...

Did they invite you to the Engineering open house thingy with that recommendation? If so, you're pretty much accepted, it's just that it isn't the official acceptance from the Admissions Office.

Yes they did, they gave me a GOLD (yes, written in CAPS) Ticket for the HSSEAS Open House. Hopefully, you're right 🙂

hey worth, Im pretty sure the letter you got means that you are in. I got a similar letter a couple years ago and when we came ot the engineering open house they told us that we were all accepted. It just something they have so they can convince all the engineers to come to UCLA. BTW, congrats 🙂
