I'd leave for more pay, or the same pay in one of the Gulf of Mexico states.

I'm the news anchor-director/Network admin/co-engineer for 3 radio stations.

I'd say i'm more loyal to my company than it is to me.

But, I would leave in a heartbeat if a better job came my way. 😀

EDIT:

Forgot to say, Industrial Supplies.

I predict that Intel will be the last employer that I ever have. 😀

I have never been treated so well by any other employer.

I heard Intel pays pretty well.

But yeah I would leave in a heart beat if a move up was offered, relating to my ongoing pursuit of a degree for Electronics Technican.

Work for Motorola in Photo in manufacturing.

Wouldn't really leave my job either.

This past Friday evening, my company had a recognition dinner with all the officers, managers and their respective spouses in attendance. I was the only employee recognized; receiving a second performance bonus within one year along with a nice plaque.

What do you think?

I think you work at Best buy 🙂

IT field..i'd leave for an extra $2/hr...there's no loyalty in IT because employers aren't loyal to you

USAF 100%
Radio Maintenance about 70%.
Swap out a card and it's called maintenance now.
Not a lot of higher brain function needed for that.
(damn IC's)

pharmaceutical scientist, developing cancer drug. i am very happy with my employer so far. company is wonderful, and my bosses treat me very well. i hope to retire with the company if i can, although i do get occasional offers from start-up biotechs.

Unemployed going to school. Will graduate in the near future. With the job market the way it is I will probably look into a second degree or masters or something. I'm not much for corporate america, so hopefully I can get into higher education or smaller business.

I'm a student right now, but I have two "jobs" on the side:

I teach TKD, and will help teach Wing Tsun Kuen Kung-Fu soon (a "maybe" on the WTKKF) - but I don't get paid. Instead, I get to work out for free with unlimited amounts of private lessons! Woohoo! I dunno. It might not sound like much, but my Si-Fu is one of the highest ranked instructors in the country in our style and I've seen people drive hours to g lessons from him - and I get this for free 😀.

And after college, I'm off to the militray - I suppose you could call it loyalty if you're willing to kill for your employer . . .. 😉

I work in a retail setting and I don't payed for what I do which really sucks. I should be getting like $2 more an hour for everything I know but I don't so yes I'd leave if I was offered a better job.

I love my job right now, however i don't think 9 dollars an hour plus tips is going to be enough for me to live on for the rest of my life. It's going to be sad when i have to geta real job that probably won't be on the water🙁

I love my job. It would take a heck of an offer to pull me away, and a job where I could love what I would be doing. Like double my current salary at a game programming company. Yeah, that would do it. Other than that, I won't leave since I like the people I work with and the work that I do.

Honestly I'd leave in a second. I've learned that company loyalty is just a waste of your own time in most cases. Mine has been decent to me and I won't pretend that I'm obvlivious to it, but given that my job security is far from perfect just for my own self it would be almost irresponsible not to leave if a more stable job came along. I'm not looking though at all; since I'm billing now I know that short-term security is assured; so I'd have to be near layoff point before I'd go looking.
