If the Iraqi citizens force us to fight a urban war going house to house in the streets of Baghdad it could get messy...

all of iraq will be under US control by friday ill bet. No one knows whats gonna happen in Baghdad.

Wasn't the war already going for several months before the US and the rest of the UN entered? Only then did it take 100 hours... But why are you ignoring the first several months?

I said 3 days but I'm being cocky. The meat of the war I believe will be over within 3 days or not much longer. Saddamn may dick around a while longer but in less than 2 weeks he'll be captured or dead. Horay! Unless he goes on the run of course. Then add a while to that but he is not going to be as good at evading capture as bin laden. Not even close.
 
I voted a month, because of the urban warfare possibilities. If Saddam doesn't bunker down in Baghdad, then it will be over in a week or less.
 
It depends on what you mean by over. My guess is the vast majority of fighting will end in less than a week. There will, of course, be holdouts in cities and whatnot and those could take a long time. The US says it will not do any door-to-door fighting and would rather surround holdouts and starve them out.
 
I'm really worried that we are way too overconfident.... In boxing, everytime the champion is overconfident, things go bad for him in the ring...

Don't worry. There is more military hitting a weaker army than the first Gulf War. The world knows saddamn is gone this time. No matter how overconfident you are if you're a 250 lb boxer you're going to take out a crippled 12 year old.
