Me and my girl have been seeing each other for about a couple months now. My average relationship lasts for about 3-4 months: either she gets bored with me or I get bored with myself (if you know what I mean). How bout you cats/birds? What's your average?

Usually not very long (at most a few months). But now I can see myself with my current g/f for awhile. 🙂

Let's see, two years, three months and ten years. Whatever those three time spans average out to be. 😉

Currently in a relationship of 6 1/2 yrs, which was my first, only and last relationship. Up until I was 21 I only had one night stands, about 50 of them, which was great but I would change nothing about my relationship with my fiancee. She is awesome and could do much better then I. So she is stuck with me forever.

P.S. she feels the same for me.

[edit]what about someone like me who is not married but has more than 1 yr with significant other? You made no such provision in your poll.

yakko, you should wait until your hand falls asleep to start the relationship... Then it feels like someone else 😉

I don't have relationships, I have "dates" with friends. Best arrangement possible.

Holy spelling mistake, Batman. LOL

Hmmm...three years with boyfriend, then a total of 13 years with husband (including dating time, excluding year of separation), so my average is 8.

I don't count the two weeks I went out with Brian "Digger" Phelps in high school, because he was a dork and I never even kissed him. He took me to see "Porky's" on our first date.

we've got 9 months, 2-3months (more?), 9months, and 2years(and counting 🙂). average those out and you get about 1 year.

edit: but the first ones don't count since they were in 5th,6th, and 7th grades. So 2years.

Will have been married 11 years in May, plus the couple of years we dated, so closing in on 13 years together. Figure in the wind-chill factor and it seems like 22 years 😛

Will have been married 19 years come June. Add the year we went together prior to marriage and it looks like we're closing in on 20 years.
