Poll: How do you record TV programs

I find that a lot of people, including my parents and roommates, still use VCRs to record shows because it's easy and cheap. How do you do it?

I have a MythTV box (went the easy route and just installed off of a KnoppMyth CD that I burned.)

It only has one tuner in it currently, but I might be adding a second one one of these days. (Though I don't really watch enough TV to justify it)

Edit: I don't own a VCR, because they cost just as much as a TV tuner card for a PC, and they don't do anything else except for record or play VHS tapes (well, also they keep track of time.) The MythTV box allows me to do a lot more then just record/watch TV.

Yeah I know plenty of people who use VCRs. I recently got a TiVo and love it.

When I was at home, VCR. Since I'm at school, I'll just bittorrent if I really want to see something, but there is very little that I actually watch.

I have a DishNetwork Dual-Tuner DVR on two sets, and a Single Hi-def (non DVR) on another.

For the couple of you who said they use a DishNetwork DVR, ever tried to get your programs off the thing? I've been trying to find an easier way to transfer to DVD and it's near impossible. Best I can do is playback to TV2 and then connect TV2 to a TV Capture card in my PC and record to mpg. Then I convert MPG to ISO and burn a DVD. Slow and inefficient at best... They just turned on the USB port on my DVR625, but it only works with their proprietary PocketDish player. Any thoughts or suggestions?

BTW - I'm aware of the copyright issues, I'm just trying to find a way to record a show on one set and watch it on another. Never thought VHS would seem so easy...

Other
HDTV using a Comcast box, SDTV using either a DirecTIVO or an HTPC. VCR only used when I feel like dumping down some of my old tapes to the PC.

Most shows I don't bother to record. I just wait until later that night and download via BT. Much less work because someone else records it, cuts the commercials out, etc.

But when I do, I use my SageTV box.

I've bought at least 400-500 VHS tapes between 1999 and 2005 at a dollar each. No more.

Bittorrent and Philips DVP-642.
