For as long as I can remember, with my 2 steady subscriptions to Sports Illustrated and Time, I've been reading them back to front. After getting my first three issues of FHM, Maxim, and Stuff, I've come to the realization that it is basically impossible to try to read them back to front, because of all the ads and the lack of a clear delineation between ads and articles. So I was just wondering, do you read magazines back to front, front to back, or flip to the cover story and work your way around that?

1. flip through the whole thing quickly just to catch glimpses
2. read through again more slowly, stopping at articles that catch my eye
3. read the rest if bored.

I usually flip through the magazine once then I go back to the beginning and flip around till I find something I want to read.
