only one way for me...I just push the nozzle so it's pointed to the corner, otherwise if you turn on the water while the shower door is open, it'll spray out. Stupid design.

It makes sense to me to enter from the front. I have the front of the shower curtain open anyway to turn on the water and get it to the right temp. Why would you close it, then open the back to get in?
 
At my new place, i enter from the front...where the water is..it's one of those sliding door showers..and it's always open from the front..so that's how i enter the shower.

At my home home...I enter from the rear...away from the water...b/c there is too little room in the front for me to get in.
