I think one of the greatest rewards after working a full day is to relax in your car with the music on. This is true if it's a local drive, not if you're in rush-hour traffic on a freeway. 😉
 
I have to drive about 8-10 blocks to work....it's so lonely in that long car ride...so I listen to the radio. 😀
 
I drive 115km each way to work (alone) every day.

I really wish there was a commuter train that was cheaper than $35.00 per day. :|

holy crap! I am guessing you live in kitcherner but work in toronto? why not just move to toronto then?



I have a 40 min subway ride each way.

You got it, I work right in the heart of downtown Toronto, so I get to deal with all the wonderful traffic Toronto has to offer. As for moving here, I tried that but I really don't like Toronto all that much. Living here seems to be such a hassle, and it's very expensive.

Supposedly they are going to extend the GO Transit line into Kitchener, so that should be a hell of a lot cheaper than taking Via. 🙂
 
More people take transit than carpool... lol, that says something right there. Of course, the vast majority drive alone.. no surprise there.
