POLL: High-pitched ring tone sound that most adults can't hear

29, and can't hear it. I had to put on headphones and crank the volume up and I could kind of make out a whine but not at a regular noise level.

Yes. If you don't hear it on speakers, try headphones. Any headphones should be able to do the job.
