This sound was posted in this thread. However, I was want to see some statistics on how many people here can hear it, so vote in the poll here.

EDIT: The sound is supposed to be a high pitched whine in case you're wondering.

I can hear something while it's playing, but I don't know if it's what I'm supposed to be hearing or not.

I just hear a really high pitched whine on my earbuds. I'll try again on my headphones when I get home from work.

What you're supposed to hear is a high pitched whine/ring.

I thought I couldn't hear it, so I put my headphones on. I can definitely hear it, but it's more of a tactical sensation than it is anything else, imo.

Speaker quality makes a difference.

On my laptop, I hear nothing.

Playing the same file on my PC with Altec Lansing speakers, I hear a very high pitched whine that hurts.

28 year old male here, and I hear it. However it doesn't seem to be very high pitched or whiny enough to hurt. I find it annoying, but not painful.

hmmm not sure if I'm hearing the right thing. It doesn't sound really high pitched to me. On top of that, mp3's only go up to 16KHz or so, thus this file can't be any higher pitched than that. It's more accurate if you downloaded a tone generator, and inputted 17KHz or so.
