Probably mid to upper 5's in my WRX. I haven't had a chance to clock my 0-60 yet. My best in the 1/4 mile is 13.9's though at the dragstrip.

Just curious, what was your mph @ the strip? I've found the speed to be a good indicator of the HP being made... Also, your 60ft times should be awesome with AWD! :)

<< By the way, you forgot an engine configuration... the Slant 6! (seriously) My dad used to have an old Duster with a slant-6 engine. >>

That was a great engine. It's actually an inline 6, just installed at an angle for hood clearance.

<< About 3.9 seconds in my TVR Tuscan with a very good launch >>

Um, weren't you the same monkey claiming to own a Tuscan a few weeks ago. We asked you post a pic and you linked to tvr.co.uk?

Can you be stupid enough to think that somebody here won't remember?

This is what I get for not watching OT :)

My Vehic is a '99 Dodge Ram Extended Cab Long bed. V-10 Engine with Dual Vortec Novi Superchargers. Running 9 Psi of boost. NO NOS. I hate Nos.

Anyway, These are official Track times. These are my best, not average.

1/4 Mile

Time 11.07 Seconds
124.56 MPH Trap ( top speed at end of track )
This is one timeslip, not best time and best MPH.

0-60 times average just under 4. ( when in 4 wheel drive ) in 2 wheel I have too much wheelspin without weight in the back, but 4 wheel limits my top end.

weight of vehicle with me in it: 6450 LBs. ( Per truck stop scale ) Ntohing like the weight of a V-10 :)

<edit>
I do not use slicks. I launch in 4 wheel, and switch off the 4 wheel around 60' Tires are 33 x 14.50 R16's If I went with slicks I could probably do much better, but this is my daily driver, plus I do not have the cash for a pair of track only tires. It all goes into my computer buisness :)
I DO have lockers front and rear. Frankly, I prefer offroading to the track, That's why no slicks :)

Dude, Myself and Loust were compairing notes about a month ago :) That would be fun! 2 huge trucks going at it at the drag strip that would beat the pants off the corvette waiting in the staging lanes :)

Nope.
I think this will beat you.

I'd estimate the 0-60 time to be about 3 seconds.

And what is the matter with posting a link to the TVR website? I dont have a digital camera or a scanner, so getting a picture of my car would be a hassle. Therefore I post pictures or a car very similar to mine. Looks the same as the picture but in a pearl white with non polished wheels.

Phony!

From the other thread:

<< Hmm you people cant quite catch a joke can you  >>

and:

<< dont be, the pic was the only fake.. I thought the :) and offical website were enough, but I see I should have put my driveway in quotes... >>

Edit: Took out the inflammatory remark. It was a bit uncalled for.

Nice slip. Any 60ft under 2 seconds is awesome on street tires..

Thats with drag slicks. I am sure with slicks I would be down there 3.0 range (acually I have no idea of performance increase with slicks anyone give me an idea?, I am spinning rubber all the way up to 55 or so with normal tyres), the fastest I have done myself is 4.0 with Potenza S-01s not the stickiest tyre ever made.

What the hell is your problem? Do I need to provide a picture of my feet just because I claim to have them?

Edit: Its not like I am going around saying I own a Ferrari 550 Maranello... The Tuscan is the equivilent to a Corvette price wise (it just happens to outperform a 360 Modena), somehow if I was posting about my Corvette I doubt I would receive any flak.

Hehe, I know the feeling. I run offroad tires :) The 4 wheel drive keeps me heading down-track :)
