POLL: Help me choose a mock layout for my website

Hey everyone, I'm in charge of choosing a website designer for our company website. I'm trying to decide between two of the top designers. Please let me know which mockup you like better. I've gotten so many wonderful designers, it's really hard to decide. Please let me know your honest opinion. We want a professional looking site, that is really eye catching and state of the art.

My new favorite is the last site (except for that goofy pic). I like the refreshing layout and it's still very professional.

Bidder #1: Too many smiling people. Otherwise the layout/icons are fine/excellent.
Bidder#2: The icons/links on the top are amateur. Might need to change the pics in the background. Pics need to be relevant to the subject.

ooh that's a toughie. Both look great and seem functional. But I'm leaning toward 2 myself because I like the use of negative space.

Choice 1 is like every other website on the net, but hey if that's what you're going for. It's also a little too "busy" for my taste.

Well, the pictures can be changed on both mockup sites.. i'm more concered with the quality and layout of the design

not a fan of the bubbly buttons on #1. But overall I like the layout better. #2 is more creative... really depends on the purpose of your site so it's not necessarily inferior to the first.

#2 looks like an amateur DJ's site. unprofessional, too complicated, unappealing to your customers.

Both sites are about $500 each. They are including a flash rollover on the main horizontal bar.

Is that a good price? The site is going to be about 7-8 pages long.

Right now i'm leaning towards #1. Also, #1 said that there are unlimited revisions (which is a nice thing when i want to update the site later on in the future). #1 said they would include SEO tags so that it would be search engine friendly.

#1 looks more professional, and easier to navigate.

Number 1 by far. It just looks more professional and "insurancy." Number two doesn't have the "zing."

Overall it's #1, even if it's a bit cheesy. #2 would have got my vote if it wasn't for the overly loud navigation

Yeah, going with #1 as well. It's more of a professional, business-type site. #2 is nice (and creative, as someone else mentioned), but it just seems too busy...especially for an insurance company.
