Neither since they're too damned expensive for me :D
Seriously, I'd have to pick HBO. The other two just suck.

Cinemax.

Why does this opinion not surprise me?

No, I have the Playboy channel for that.

I have a girlfriend to cover that "area" of my life....

I'm looking more for movies and such

Netflix. Thousands of good movies the cable channels will never show (or show dubbed instead of subtitled). No channel logo in the corner, no promo voiceovers during the end credits.

My choice would be HBO & Starz, here's my mini review of all 3:

HBO - Award winning original series (The Sopranos, OZ, The Wire, etc.) and shows 1-2 blockbuster movies.

Starz - Nice selection of semi-recent 3 to 6 month old movies.

Cinemax - AKA Skinemax, soft pr0n (if you're into that ;) ).

Of those 3, Showtime based on programming. Based on High-Def, I don't know. I've heard Showtime's high def isn't always the greatest though. I'd imagine HBO is ahead in HD.

We're into movies though which is why we went with Starz (and why I voted Showtime here) when we switched to Dish. We had a bunch of HBOs with our digital cable and when we were in college. HBO was ok, but unless you're just an avid fan of their original programming then it's not that great as it feels like that's pretty much all that's ever on leaving little in the way of movies. Their shows are top quality for sure, but there's so many strong shows on other channels now too that I just don't see the point of paying extra for pretty much more of the same (except with the option to take things to an R-rated level.) Showtime has a lot of original programming too, but not as much and it seems to have more movies.

I dont think I would pay for any because the movies IMO just suck and netflix is a much better option or blockbuster bringing back the movie pass would be way better

I am not a fan of HBO original programming except their miniseries Band of Brothers for instance

we get HBO, HBO2 , HBO Family, & HBO Signature free because it is included in the apartment complex rent andI probably watch a total of 3-4 movies a month

I guess if i had to pick it would be cinemax because at least i can watch some pron if i dont feel like watching Futurama/ FG

I dont know what showtime offers because I have never had that for an extended period of time
