Yes I will buy it when it goes on sale but will hold on to my Definitive Collection Box Set of lasers until Lucas comes to his senses.

Luke screaming? I (obviously) haven't kept up with the changes he's made. After I found out about Greedo shooting first, I kinda tuned it out.

Although I gotta hand it to Georgie, he might not be able to make movies for sh*t anymore, but anyone who can get people to buy the same thing 2 or more times has got my respect regardless. As the old saying goes, he could probably sell ice to eskimos. I still wish ep's 1 & 2 didnt' blow goats though

It?s the scene when Vader tells Luke he is his father in Empire Strikes Back. Vader strikes him and Luke falls down in some long shaft. The original Luke just fell silently.

I think this has been removed in the "new" version. I hope it has. Some of the changes to these versions I see as an improvement to the SEs of 97, while some are horrible.

While I would really like the originals on DVD, I do plan to pickup this set.

Sadly Lucas will never release the originals on DVD.

Why would anyone pre-order it? You've gotta know that Wal-mart and every other store are going to have displays of hundreds of the collections... and somewhere, someone is going to have a smoking deal that's far cheaper than everyone else.

What's the point of preordering anything? They always have plenty of stock when the release hits . . . and the prerelease usually means your stuck with a certain vendor if a better deal appears.

Nope! Not sure if I'm going to buy it. I don't like what Lucas has done to the movies. I want the original on DVD, not one where the blue floatey Anakin Skywalker in the last movie is played by Hayden Christensen. That's just total BS!

I've got some the crappy VCD's from Malaysia in PAL format. Good enough though for now.

Won't buy new until they're the original's.

Yeah thats my problem...I dont want Jaba the Hut in episode 4 , but I waited on buying other media because I wanted DVD, not knowing that the originals would never come out...
