The most recent one for me was well dressed - polo shirt, khakis asking for money to buy his medication which costs $5. He also happened to be carrying a big (60 oz ++) pop from a gas station which I know goes for $1.49. I asked him about his priorities and he got pissed. A week later he approached me again (I take a walk over my lunch) about money for "school books"... I told him that that wasn't his story last time...

It's about the same as ever here. If I walk a couple blocks I am sure to see at least one begger.

It's been an increasing trend here for years that the panhandlers are freshly bathed and wearing clean clothes. A big change from the rag-wearing drunks in the gutter of a decade or so ago. That's why now I only give food, and carry snack bars in the car for just that purpose.

STOP BEGGING.

scouts and other organizations are usually contributing something to society.

that's a bit of profit for everyone.

When the other cars moved, I realized she only had one leg.
