How old was she? :sneaky:

I don't really know...but I was only 18 at the time, and she was a little older than me...I think. Probably not by a lot...maybe mid 20's?
And she was a REAL female...not some Thai girly boy like are so common nowadays...

... interesting why is that?

What i'm saying is essential to not ending up a bitter jaded asshole;

How is positive human psychology equal to medieval sexual requirements?
Maybe I should have included a sarcasm tag?

People have become so indoctrinated in our society that sex = love that too many have fallen for that schtick.

You shouldn't have sex with someone you don't love.

Totally aside from paying for sex you do know there is such a thing as casual sex. That people do it, both sexes, because they enjoy it and for little else.

The word 'moral' is often viewed as 'it's just wrong to pay for sex', however hypocritical our culture of nice dinners and gifts of jewerly.

But the word moral on prostitution is more to me about exploting poverty - that it's harmful to the women especially but even the men as people.

There's an ideological libertarian view that wants to ignore the human costs and treat it like a 'commodity' which MUST for Libertarian ideology not have 'government interference'.

Fact is, it's generally a very ugly thing where there's no real avoiding that there are women WHO DO NOT WANT TO HAVE SEX WITH YOU, or they would for free, so that this is really more of a form of - and this sounds oxymorinic but isn't - 'consensual rape', based on economic exploitation.

When you really look at prostitutes, you generally find terrible situations. A recent examination of the legal brothels in Nevada found a lot of terrible things, which one prostitute summarized by saying 'it's like signing a contract to be raped continually'. There are moral issues to taking advantage of women who need the money - or want it, it's more complicated than poverty - most prostitutes seem to have had problems with young, IIRC, being molested. Many have problems. It's not a good situation.

Even the men tend to be people who end up not doing themselves any favors; a recent auto-biographical movie about this highlighted a common issue, as the 'sex addict' he eventually realized he was would compulsively go to prostitutes and then feel very bad wanting to never do it again after.

I don't think the OP likely appreciated the 'moral issues' he included in the poll seeming to refer to 'prudish religious objection to people having fun' or some such.

OMG. Puke...

BUT, you're right...it's sex just for the fuck of it...():)

A moral thing or (like me) just don't see the point?

Nothing to do with morals. I've never been in position where I needed sex so bad I had to pay. I mean hell if you have a halfway decent sense of humor/looks it's not hard to get sex in this country. I guess if I lived in Saudi I'd take flights to Bahrain for some white meat, but I don't. Plus most are nasty skanks anyway. They sure don't look like movie "Pretty Woman" IME.

Well aware of the phenomenon, as per TV;

I'm talking about psychological research on the negative emotional and social-cognitive impact of hooking up, particularly for women.

There are many such studies, but here is an outline of some of the extant literature done by Daubman et al 2011.

•Women will endorse emotional closeness as a more important reason and physical pleasure as a less important reason in deciding to have sexual intercourse than will men

•Men will have experienced a higher level of sexual intimacy during a hookup than will women

•Men will feel more comfortable than women with a higher level of sexual intimacy during a first-time hookup

•Women will experience more negative and less positive emotions after a hookup than will men

•Women will be more likely than men to want future contact with a hookup partner

Bogle 2008, Flack et al 2007, Lambert et al 2003, Paul & Hayse 2002 and paul 2000.

People should be free to do what they want with their bodies; but that freedom often comes at a price. The solution of course in part involves not stigmatizing people but another part, I think, is informing them of potential consequences.

I was dating one....didn't know it until the "massage parlor" that I also didn't know she worked at was on the news one night being busted. Luckily I was at my parent's house watching this all unfold and got to hear my mom say "Isn't that your girlfriend Amber?"

A good LOL was had by all....well my Dad and I anyway....Mom didn't see the humor in it.

How does anyone just "date" a hooker and already have both parents knowing them?

Are you sure Amber was involved or just worked there?

Doesn't make sense.

I knew a couple guys that talked about some spots just north of the border, and a bunch of stories about occurences during foreign port visits, but not sure how many of those were true. but I do know a guy that once bought the all night package while in vegas, including the $500 back door access option once she showed up.

Are you retarded? Oh, just saw it was you Alky so I'll type slow...

I had been dating the girl for about 3 months, maybe 4. In that time my parents had both met her on multiple occasions.

That make sense or do I need to break out the crayons and draw it for you?

and yes...she was involved as part of the "happy ending" ring.

She must have been low cost to get involved with someone living at home. If you actually introduced a hooker (or really most people) to your parents with three months, that's equally whacky.

One of my favorites...I really hope Alzheimer's doesn't take it away from me...:p

Just be sure to tell the story often so that it stays fresh in your mind. Thanksgiving dinner, Church socials, daughter's wedding, etc.

I would but only those high end $1000/hr types. You know, governor quality. The internet has made picking an escort like picking a car. There's pics, options, reviews. It's so orderly it's almost unsleezy. Almost.
