I have filed an extension every years for as long as I can remember. I never do them til August, hehe

If I was desperate for money I might, but I only get back usually $700 or so. Mine take about 2-3 hrs to complete, but the part I hate most is having to tear my house up looking for receipts

Proof that the ISR sucks.
There is NO excuse for it not being available here in the US.
 
How many people work for the IRS?
How many work for Amazon.com?
Which one does more complicated transactions?
 
Not yet, we in Michigan get an extra day for our feds.


BTW-I gotta pay a couple of grand so I wasn't in any hurry.

just did my 99 taxes about 2 months ago 😀
i figure i'll do my 2000s in a few months
and then my 2001 the same time i do my 2002s next year
 
Did 'em first week of February. You can always tell who's getting a return and who has to pay by when they file.
 
I will sign the forms, write the check, and send them in on Monday. No reason for me to get in a rush to send the government my money. They waste most of it anyway.
