I tend to nod down. But I've had people say hi to me while I'm getting in my car or something, and since I was looking down at my keys, I'll nod up. I tend to treat guys and girls about the same with this stuff. Unless the girl is really attractive, in which case I feel compelled to avoid eye contact and pretend not to be checking her out.

Yell, "YOU LOOKIN AT ME?!"

or

Coyly say, "Hey baby, goin my way?"


if it's not either of the above, I smack some ass ala pee wee football coach.

i think it's a dominance thing... you nod UP if you think you could kick the other guy's ass, and DOWN if you think he could kick your ass

see, that's the first thing that goes through ANY guys mind when they see another guy they don't know... "Could i kick his ass?" then "i bet my penis is better than his"

i heard a stand up comic say all that once late night on comedy central a few years ago... makes sense... i always nod up
