I don't get them done (as in by someone else), but I do a careful job when I do them myself.

Clipped, filed, then filed towards the end of my fingers to remove the little burr that gets put on the nail from filing it. If I'm really bored a sheet of paper works well to get the edge extremely smooth.

I hate having anything other than smooth nails.

My girlfriend manicures my nails twice a month. Cuts the nails, pushes back/trims the cuticles, etc. I hate long nails on men. I used to cut my own nails very short. My GF hates short-short nails...so one day she said "next time you cut your nails, let me do it for you!"

I do, however, opt-out on the clear nail polish. I know it's the "finishing touch" but it makes me feel "unmanly."

But anyway, I get it done for free; who am I to look the Gift Horse in the mouth, huh? :D

Personally, I like the way my nails look...neat and clean. But then, I'm a very clean-cut type of guy. No goatee and a mullet to be found here, buddy! :p

LMAO - you should feel 'unmanly' - as a female I have never had my nails done by anyone... ;) :D

Me? Nah. Gay, I"m not. Just ask any of the women here at OT how much they hate me for my "womanizing and degrading" ways. :D I love them women. Especially when they are in the kitchen cooking, where they belong. ;)

The eyebrows are mandatory as well. Burt from Seasame Street looked good with one eyebrow. Normal men do not. I shave b/t the brows every other day, and when I get a haircut (every 2-3 weeks) the barber trims the brows. (BOTH) The unibrow is not considered attractive by the fairer sex! :Q

Nope. If I don't think about it for a week or so and they get long enough to need trimming, I just use nail clippers. But most of the time, I end up biting them. Bad habit, but I've been doing it for years. :eek:

no, I do my own fingernails very short with regular clippers. Homo. ;)

I have plucked my eyebrows before, though :eek: and once I let a girl do it for me. Oh well, she had to shove her breasts in my face for about a half hour, so I didn't mind that much :D

But seriously, you *shave* your eyebrows? Are you happy with the results?

If by "getting my nails done" you mean scraping the grease and assorted other automotive fluids out from under them with a Swiss Army knife, then yes. Other that that it's the bench grinder.

Well, my wife wanted me to get a manicure a week before we got married, so I went with her to a salon. I guess it was nice :eek: -- I mean, in the end, my nails were EXTREMELY smooth. Was it worth the price, though? Nope. Getting a manicure is not something that I need to (or necessarily want to) have happen again.

Actually, the best thing I've found is the scissors off of my CyberTool 34 swiss army knife.

My husband nailed some old rug pices onto a board for me and I use it as a scratching post. Saves the furniture :)
