My guess is somewhere between "who gives a shit?" and "None that belong to you"

I used to use checks for things like mortgage, car payments, etc .. But, These days i use the interwebs. I think I have written 3 checks in the last 4 or 5 years.

I think I've used 3 cheques the last 8 years or so. Mainly for rent deposits.

You've clearly got internet. Why can't you do internet bank transfers? It's the 21st century. Has been for a while.

I'm down to one check per year. Property tax is the last holdout. The county is promising online payments so depending on the form that takes maybe I can get down to no checks.

We're probably down to around a dozen or so a year. Quarterly tax payments to the IRS and FTB account for 8 of them.

My township has online payment but they charge a 3% convenience fee. Same with plate stickers. I'll just mail a check thank you very much. The charges aren't unreasonable since they are just recouping their own CC fees but no thanks.

We have 3 bills that can't be paid on-line. Check or money order for one, check, money order, or cash in person for the other two.
Everything else gets paid on-line.

Just about the same here. 4 for water and 4 for property taxes. I have the option to do it online but they ding me for $3 a pop

You don't have any money in your account so not a problem.

Checks are probably the most insecure method of payment out there.

I don't remember how to write a check it's been so long. Are you still expected to spell out the dollar amount and put the cents in a xx/100 format?

Got all the monthly bills on auto pay or internet. Only way to go.

Living paycheck to paycheck is no way to live. Give something up, work overtime, get another job or do whatever it takes to get a little ahead. Once you have your head above water keep it there. Take small steps that are directionally correct. Don't give up.

Prior to this year, I had probably written 15 checks in my lifetime... and that seems like a high guess.

This year though, rent is check - and one of my roomies has all the utilities billed, so I cut a check for utilities every month too.

I hate checks - it's much, much easier to "balance" my accounts when I have no checks, because if it's not a check, it basically shows up on my account instantly. Well, online bill pays actually takes two or three business days to actually post/deduct from my account - but I've gotten into that rhythm just fine. It's the, oh, two weeks later and I know I appear to have far more money that I would expect... oh, I see, that damn check still hasn't posted. ugh.
That's created an ugly situation once or twice.
