Title pretty much sums up what i'm pondering right now. I saw and grabbed one of the Best Buy $99 GF3 Ti200 specials (couldn't pass it up for the price), and am wondering whether or not to keep it. I'm not a big gamer (i do like fragging every once in a while, but it's far from my main use for my system). So, here's my thinking, i have two potential courses of action:
(1) Keep the GF3, and be happy
(2) Sell it, use the proceeds to buy another card (say a Voodoo5, whose 2d i absolutely love, and has respectable gaming performance, or a Radeon AIW for greater flexibility for my system), and perhaps bump up my other system specs (say going to 512mb or upgrading my CPU speed a couple of notches), which would of course depend on the spread between what i would sell the Ti200 for, and what i'd spend on a different card.
Just for background, i'm building a new system to replace the Gateway 6400 i'm using now. So far, i've garnered an MSI KT266 Pro, 256mb Crucial pc-2100 DDR, and a T-bird 1.2 AXIA.
So here's your chance to help me build my system.
