I don't know them by the other bakery's name.. but my favorite is the samoa with the trefoil as a close second.

my daughter is in girl scouts. we been trying to get everyone to buy them. ugh im sick of them. if i neve rsee another box of them that is ok with me.

iirc samoa=caramel delites and trefoil=shortbread


Personal favorite is peanut butter patties aka tagalongs

Tho I can hardly eat them any more. Too many years of all the gs cookies I could eat. I used to work for the gs and we would get all of the cookies they didnt sell.

I'd never heard of this rift in the naming until I read up on it a few weeks ago when they started selling them here by those fucked up names in the poll above.

They made them way smaller too from when I was a kid and then upped the price. I wouldn't buy them either but I feel bad for my coworkers who get suckered into doing their daughters' jobs for them.
 
I'm a Peanut Butter Patty man myself.. But you get so few of them I also go for Thin Mints. Of course my wife puts them in the freezer and doesn't find them again until she goes to put the next year's ones in there so we're always a year behind.

Yeah I didnt either till the council I worked for changed companies. They used to be with little brownie bakers, but the sales people came in and treated them like idiots(they were but thats not the point) so they switched to abc.
 
Where is the option for the "Paid for by Jesus Statue Ransom" Thin Mints?

Dang they are expensive anymore. $3.50/box for less than 2 dozen cookies!!!
