GI Joes had better cartoons but Transformers were da bomb back in middle school (80's).

Remember gobots or whatever it was called? Another Transformers rip off.
 
I liked the Transformers show better. But I think I played with GI Joes more.

God damn it..how can you make me choose this. They were my two favourite shows and my two favourite toys....the only way you could make this any worse is if it was GI Joe vs Transformers vs Lego.

I had The GIJOE BASE HA!

I like both the cartoons GI JOE was on after Transformers and I watched them both after school!

So for toys GI JOE
Cartoon Series was A tie,
Movie was definately Transformers the GI JOE MOVIE was Bunk. (although I did by it and my son reaaly likes it!)

Overall I was more Of a GIJOE guy. I had the f-14 (sky striker) and the Codra Helocopter with wild bill. My favorite Joe was Gung HO!

we used to play GIJOE outside my house ALL THE TIME!

i didn't really like transformers as a kid...i prefered GI Joe. sorry guys. and i also played with my little ponies and barbie dolls
 
We're a bunch of geeks, is it any wonder that Transformers is kicking ass and taking names in this poll? 😉

Even though it was a ripoff, I loved gobots too, back in the day.

Legos were pretty cool too, and I played with legos more, but I think they lacked the overall coolness of transformers, plus there was never a legos cartoon (I don't think)
 
No way, man! Gi-Joe rocked! Sure, Transformers were also kinda cool, but changing them back and forth got boring after awhile. Now, take a bunch of durable GI-Joe tanks and figurines, take them out back to the little dirt pile behind the house, and you could have your own little WAR, man! It was awesome! 🙂
 
Transformers were the best. I still have all of mine stashed away at home. My favorites were the groups of 5 or 6 Transformers that could combine to make one big Transformer.
 
TRANSFORMERS was the best all-around. I think I saw almost every episode. Yep, nothing like coming home from a hard day of coloring to a warm tv of transformers.

(On a side note: He-man was pretty awesome too!)
 
My the way... those your little sister's little ponies and barbie dolls could also be used in conjunction with GiJoe! It gives your soldiers something to ride when their Jeep breaks down!

The meant the PONIES, you perverts! 🙂
