I'd show my young and inexperienced nature by stating that I dabbled in some database stuff (had no idea what I was doing, and still don't) back when MySQL was in the 3.x version (basically, that means installing the PHP app and letting it deal with MySQL). Now lately I've actually been trying to learn how to work with MySQL for real, but still have a long way to go before I'll have 0.01% of the knowledge that you guys have. 😱

I guess I'm more an IBM lightweight-polymer kinda guy then... make my living on the AS/400 aka iSeries these days. Started off on a System/3... went to a System/38 (skipped the /36... *phew*) and from there to their latest midrange machines 🙂

I started out on the IBM 360/370 mainframe, then on up through to the newer ones. But I also worked with the IBM PC (640K mem, 2 360K 5 1/4" floppies, 4.77Mhz) and IBM-AT (640K mem, 20Meg HD, 2 360K 5 1/4" floppies)

I've worked with the System36 and early AS/400 as well. 🙂

Oh, and to keep this semi on-track, GEOFFS FOR ELITE! 😀
