Dang, sounds like a commercial. Dumped your HP for an Epson, Black and Color Cartridge Program for Life? LOL.

Wow, sounds like Ron Popeil a little bit doesn't it? CartridgeSmart spammed on almost every forum with their $5 off $10 coupons made specifically to the site's name. Not a bright idea :) I could be wrong though, maybe Bargain Hunter Craig is genuine, who knows :)

No these are not genuine factory cartridges, if they were, they would cost atleast $20 a pop for black. The website says they are COMPATIBLE, meaning either they take old cartridges and refill or are made by some third party. I would suggest against getting these for an especially for an epson.

I was waiting for the usual infomercial phrases
"now for limited time, only 9.99, if you order within the next 3 minutes"
hahaha!

Let's see.
You can get the Epson 480, brand new at Epson, for it's everyday "Full Retail Price" of $59.
I'm sure some shopping, and maybe a coupon code, could get you this very bottom of the line printer for about $25. Heck, I got one of the higher end units, the Stylus Color 860, for less than $50.

But WAIT..
There's MORE!!!!

At megatoners.com you can get ink cartridges for the printer. $2.99 for black. $4.99 for color.
Free shipping if order 10 or more (mix and match is O.K), otherwise $3.95 any quantity. As to quality of there ink, I don't think they could get e8ay ratings of 3000+ positives and 2 negatives (both negatives were high priced shipping related outside US). Not one complaint about clogged heads or crap. They come in identical packages to Epson retail. I just started using them a couple weeks ago, and results are perfect. Just like original Epson ink. (so far).

You'd have to pay me to take a stinkin' Epson. Even when they're free, they're not worth it. :(
