Awesome deal! Off brand though... Here it goes. AT officemax there is a 200 spindle of Prime Peripherals for 59.99 and a 14.99 instant rebate then a 45 mail in rebate its an awesome deal! AWESOME!

Yeah that's a good price for 200 CD's, but it's considered a " door buster " which means you have to get to the store at O dark hundred ( military expression for really early ), to be one of the first in line because the store probably only has a few. I've been through drill before ( Best Buy, Compusa, Circuit City, etc. ) and it's not pretty.

The store I went to has a ton! of these things set out. And from a previous post I read someone else's store had the same.

May be able to wake up at a reasonable hour then, instead of camping out overnight.

I don't think u guys will believe it but some people don't need 200 blank cd's and this would still be a great deal for 50 or 100 for $0 :D

I was buy my local OM today (checking on the monitors) and
there was a whole pallet full of these set up in the isle.

If its a door buster then they will need big doors.

Anyone thinking they pulled these off of their website to minimize the massive price matching they'd be getting tomorrow? wonder if they'll be back up after midinght now.

Anyone have any experience with these? "Free" is worthless if your data evaporates.

<< These CDRs are junk.........I wouldn't give them away. >>

Is this from first hand experience or a listing on the net?

I say these CD's are junk. If they are Prime Peripherals with a white top. Data does seem to evaporate off the CD's in a few months. They seem to have a very thin protective layer if at all. You could ruin these CD's by dropping them on the floor (it's happened to me). However they are much improved if you put a label on them.

Holy sh!t. I have cdrs like those and I never use them because cdrs that spontaneously go bad aren't very useful at all.
