One might also attempt to get at least ONE language right before complaining about multiple languages.

McDOnalds
advetrising
spanish (capitalization counts)
anf

other
comapnys
fallowing
its
i
aginst
spanish
i
the
orgin

Beyond that, I think English should be the official language of the US simply to reduce the clutter and waste of the government having to provide for every possible language that somebody might speak when printing literature and exams and whatnot, as well as it making life easier for everybody in general since then we know everybody speaks one language whether they speak others or not. It pisses me off royally whenever I am reminded that driving tests are printed in other languages AND read aloud to people that can't read, despite ALL road signs being in English (though this might have more to do with state government than federal).

Actually English is the official language for the United States. However, it was our language was only ONE vote away from being German. This was voted sometime around when the Constitution was drafted. It would have been interesting to see, if we would have had German as our national language, what we would have done in WWI and WWII.
