Okay... I was just wondering if people are using the new Window XP Start menu or using the classic start menu? Personally I've been using the classic, but thats because I'm just way too used to it. I can see the how the new one could be useful. It gives you a list of recent programs and you get to see you name in big bold letters next to a cheezy icon. What to you guys use?😀

I use the old start menu.... I have no need for the recent programs since I have all the progs i ever use in the quick launch bar

<< fvck, I voted the wrong way...pls forgive me... >>

ahhh!!! you screwed it all up!! kidding*😛

good thing we're not voting for the presidentacy..... 😀

I use the classic style. My 4 most common programs (IE, Outlook, WinAmp, Explorer) are on the quick launch bar. The rest of the programs I use off and on so the whole "recent programs" bit is useless for me. And the quick launch bar is still faster than the recent programs.

Classic. I prefer the more compact size, and I don't like items moving around of their own accord in the new version.

I prefer classic mode but I run cartoon mode because I need to be familiar with it for troubleshooting at work.

I like the new one. The size takes some getting used to, but the most frequently accessed programs menu is handy.

<< I like the New one. It was time for the desktop to become less cluttered, and I like it. >>

I still put everything on the quick launch bar like in 98. The clutter has been gone for years.

I use the new one was well, but only because I want to be able to get around in it for trouble shooting other's computers.
I have a TRI booting system with ME/2000 Pro/XP Pro so I can be up on most of the OS's I'll have to deal with.

And with that vote, I tyed it up!!! 😉

i use the old start menu... the new one is just tooooooo big and ghey :Q

[edit: 32/32?! :Q i didnt think the new start menu would be so popular 😕]

I use the new one, but I disabled having it constantly show what was used most recently, nor do I have it highlight them.

I have grouped pretty much everything where I want it.

I use the Pro ver.
