I made the mistake of watching the Exorcist when I was around 10 or 11 years old at my dad's place with my step brother at around 3 o'clock in the morning and I couldn't sleep during the night for 3 or 4 days straight. Hell everytime I see Linda Blair it reminds me of that night. Talk about a little traumatized. 🙂 The Ring for me wasn't scary at all except for the end because it caught you offguard and it was more surprising than scary. They are both 2 different kinds of movies even though they are put in the same category.
Exorcist was 100 times more scarier at the time of it's release than The Ring was just because this generation is desensitized.
The story in The Ring had a nice build but got kinda lame, exorcist is pretty good but I'd actually say that blair witch is definetley scarier than both of them.
Well if you turn out the lights and live in the woods anyhow.😉
