POLL: Firefox Crashing?

I noticed my firefox has been crashing alot now since the new versions, but even internet explorer didnt crash like this. I am thinking about getting older verison there is problems for sure disapointed in mozilla.

edit: I have the 1.8.20060.11112 version. I've now noticed that they have the 1.5.0.1 now.

can't say ive ever had firefox crash. acrobat plugin crashed a few times and brought it down though.

now i just make it launch in acrobat externally. (or gpdf i guess)

I always get some crash that involves js3250.dll v4.0.0.0 something something. Its some file involving javascript. I hate it.

hopefully someone knows why?

Only the Adobe PDF plugin has ever caused problems for me, so I just switched that to open in the external program. Otherwise, Firefox hasn't had any problems.

I have FlashBlock. I think it's the new one 1.8 and it never used to do this.

Yeah none with the new, had alot of random crashing with the older ones...

Wait, I have the 1.50.1 just checked

tools>options>advanced tab>show update history button> says secruity update for 1.5.0.1 on december 31st.

I just went to Yahoo News worked fine for me, randomly sometimes it just stops responding and i have to end the task also yesterday when i closed it was still running in the taskmanager when i tried to reopen another one it wouldnt open it and would just make a new task after ended the tasks and than reopening it worked again.

mine crashed alot when i upgraded from 1.04 to 1.5. turned out to be some kind of transparancy bug in flash. updating to Shockwave Flash 7.0 r61 from r5x fixed it. also make sure you update your extensions, adblock and a few others have updated versions for firefox 1.5+

It was crashing for me when pages had embeded WMV files. I rolled back to WMP9 and it doesn't crash now. :)

i have A LOT of errors in my javascript console. what does that mean?
