POLL: Favorite 'Trading Spaces' designer

My wife and I watch it and love it 😀
We both think Vern has a very good sense of style.
Frank's rooms are very fun. But from time to time, he gets too "crafty" for our taste. We do like his ideas though and think he's a cool guy.
Doug and Hildi can both go over the top very easily. But here and there they hit the nail right on the head (we think), in their designs.
Laurie's a southern girl with pretty good taste. What's to complain about?
Gen's designs are fun. Much along the lines of Frank's. Her designs seem a little more polished when they're done.
We missed out on Dez's projects for the most part. No comment on her.
We both like Amy's work, and think Ty's work is good. But he's a little too much sometimes.
What's not to like about perky Paige?
 
Paige is stupid and annoying. My wife loves this show, and I watch it pretty regularly with her. I hate all of the contrived emotion and the poor attempts at comedy by the designers (or by annoying Paige).

It seems like in every episode they are "running behind and need to hurry up" or there is always some kind of confrontation between the carpenter and a designer or a neighbor and a designer. The problem I have with it is that most of the time it is SO staged it is hard to watch.

Really? I only watch it maybe twice a month or so, but I have never noticed anything that looked staged... There probably always IS confrontations.. 🙂 And considering some of the dolts they pick to work on their houses, it's no wonder they run behind!

 
I watch it with my sister. Paige is indeed annoying. Laurie's dorwnright attractive, in that classy soccer mom sense (though married).

The designers who, in my opinion, don't usually screw up a room by trying too much are Vern, Laurie, Genevieve.

Gen gets a bit too wacko (Moss on the walls anyone?) for my tastes. Big fan of Vern's rooms, he puts an assload of time into the line of the room and it shows. Frank's fun, but yeah, he's not for everyone.
 
I am going to have to go with Ed Feldman and Joe L'Erario, The Furniture Guys on TLC. They kinda "dumb up" home projects, not like most of these fade to the next scene and everything is done shows.
 
I wouldn't trust anyone but Vern with any of my rooms.

It's too bad they switched hosts. Paige is so fake.

Laurie is cute, but I hate her rooms.
Frank's rooms are cool(and I can't believe he ISN'T gay btw), but I gave it to Genevieve because she is cute too, along with cool rooms.
Vern's rooms are ok.
Doug and Hilde's rooms are god awful. Doug is the biggest prick in the world, and has some serious tunnel vision, and I think Hilde drops some LSD before she starts designing.
Amy Wynn is very cute, as was Alex(hubba hubba)...I used to think Ty was lame but now he's pretty funny.
The Paige era is not as good as Alex's
 
Oh yeah, the moss on the walls was a bit much, but generally I thin Gen's designs are pretty fresh.
