Thats my train of thought. Bond is ment to have those quick one-liners everynow and then, but Moore had them every few minutes, and it was hard to belive that a guy that looked 50+ in the films and with a gut that big was in MI5 (or was it MI6!?). It was very comical with Moore.Originally posted by: Astaroth33
Roger Moore put too much cheese into the Bond character. I prefer Pierce Brosnan, myself (though I should really rewatch those old Sean Connery ones).

Connery was a little better, but he didnt look quite right for the role imo. And dalton just plain sucked.
Brosnan however, is perfect. He just has that "bond" look and the attitude of what Jame Bond is ment to be. He is bond personified imo.

Was a Brosnan film your first Bond, by any chance?

goldfinger, followed the rest of the sean connery films. "the living daylights" is the best non-connery film, although you could argue that it's the least bond-like of the bunch. it was comparitively much darker and less humorous than the other films. anything with roger moore stunk. his movies were like a cartoon or something.
I was just about to say that all the votes for Goldeneye is a reflection on the average age of posters here...Originally posted by: ness1469
Goldeneye... it's the first one I ever saw. My parents took me to see it in the theaters when it first came out... then about 5 years later when I played the game and watched the movie again... I realized that I had seen it.
After that is "the Living Daylights". I dunno why. It's not really that good of a bond movie, but I like it.
Goldfinger was part of the first of the rerelease sets and is available on its own. So far that's not true for the ones in the last two sets yet, which drives me nuts! I need A View to a Kill, The Living Daylights, and You Only Live Twice to complete my collection. Bah, been told "they'll be out in a few weeks."Originally posted by: BornStar18
Goldfinger. I really should find it on DVD. Does anyone know if theyre selling the older movies seperate from the collector's sets? I own at least one movie from each set so it's dumb to have to buy a duplicate.
Did you know Christopher Lee was one of those considered for Bond from the beginning? Being the cousin of Flemming helped I guess 😛Originally posted by: Aquaman

Are you implying that the votes for GoldenEye are related to the best N64 game ever?
And you do?Originally posted by: Jadow
Goldeneye is total garbage, you people who voted for it just don't know any better.
