What was your favovorite 80's cartoon show and why? I've included some of the more popular ones in the 80's.

EDIT: I didn't include the simpsons, the teenage mutant ninja turtles, and some others because they were more famous in another era. There are plenty of others I haven't included because the poll would have about a hundred choices. However I will edit the poll depending on demand, so keep on checking

Wasn't Scooby Doo actually mostly 70s (and just re-run forever) since then?? Either way, it gets my vote. After that, Superfriends. Of course, Bugs Bunny and Flintstones are my staples.
 
I used to get home from school every day. Pop open a can of pringles, and watch Ghostbusters, followed Duck Tales.
 
Hmmmmm since I was mainly a child of the seventies/early eighties (yep - DING DING DING over 30 alert, LOL) I was raised on SATURDAY MORNING cartoons (mostly '70s stuff like hanna-barbara andf the sid&marty kroft live-action stuff like Land of the Lost and Sigmund and the Seamonsters).

But if I *MUST* choose an 80's cartoon - I guess I'll go with Voltron. Even in my late teen years in the mid-80s, I loved to watch this show after school. Cool robot lions that for a giant robot.....GO VOLTRON FORCE!

Too bad the DVD isn't that great, I was hoping for a cleaner picture... and its only in Pan&Scan, when it came out in movie theaters wasn't it Widescreen? I was too young to remember...

And the GI Joe DVD is a little disappointing too... a few frames skip here and there, but they're both worth it!

I don't recall TMNT being in the 80s, but if they were, they must have been in the late late 80s. The earliest I recall them being around was 91, thats when the cool arcade game came out.
 
I forget now.......(geez, only 32 and the brain is giving up already???? 😉 ) was Thundarr the Barbarian done in the 80's or earlier??
 
Thundercats was the best. THe plot line was all over the place but i only realized that at my current age. Cheetarah was hot too

Yea..i counted them mostly as a 90's phenomenon. Maybe in my next cartoon poll =)

BTW, what were dino-riders?!?
 
Why is this question even being asked? We all know that Transformers was the best 80's cartoon.😀
 
Yeeeeaaah!! Transformers is key.....but I must ask, where we all be without that public service announcement at the end of every GI Joe episode? Remember, knowing is half the battle!
