In light of the grr...I'm boycotting Arbys thread, I pose the question of who has the best service and food quality when it comes to fast food burger joints. I would have to cast my vote for In-N-Out Burger without question as the best of the best!!

Sorry for those of you who do not live in California, or parts of Arizona or Nevada as In-N-Out is only in these areas.....for now. :(

Never been to in and out so I don't know about them - possibly burger king or popeyes? Actually, I know of NO fast food restaurant who is actually known for GOOD customer serivce.

There's one in Vegas, I believe, so it's not just CA, but it will lose because it lacks the name recognition.

It's THE best fast food joint.

Ahhhh....then if you ever get to go to an In-N-Out you will be very pleased. They really are the best when it comes to C.S. The will build your burger any way you like it with no Hassel

True Story: My friend is a manager for In-N-Out and he said that the store he is working at has a customer that always comes in and orders his Double-Double. He hands a small 3 x 5 card to the cashier and it describes the exact order in which to build his burger. Now I think the guy is totaly cracked, because he wants the ingreadents to go on in a different order from the norm. But no problem....They build it for the guy just exactly how he spells it out with no complaints at all! Truly great Customer Service.

The fastest service I've experienced comes from Wendy's, without question.
The friendliest service I've experienced comes from McDonald's, without question.
The highest quality of food comes from Carl's Jr, but due to location I can't go there anymore (I've never been to InN'Out Burger, either).

Wendy's it is! :)

Chick-Fil-A. The employees there are always extremely friendly and curteous. The food is great. I guess it's not a "burger" joint, but then I never considered Arby's to be one either.

OK, another In-N-Out plug. Another friend of mine was sitting in the drive through (a long line as usual) at In-N-Out, placed his order, pulled up to the window and to his embarrassment, he realized was short by about $2.30. Feeling like quite the fool he explained his situation and was about to go, and the In-N-Out worker said don't worry about it and gave him his food anyway.

I don't think Mc Donalds would ever do that.

We have subway, that's pretty good. It's my favorite of the sandwich chains, but nothing spectacular

In my post I said only burger joints. If it was sandwhich places I'd have to vote for Togos. Can't stomach Subway, but that's just my vote.

If you and Mrs. Skoorb are in CA, ya' gotta do the In-N-Out visit. You won't be sorry.

Amen. Chick-Fil-A may be regional (although so is Carl's Jr. and In-N-Out to some extent based on my travels) but nearly every one I've ever been to has had employess who were FAR AND AWAY better than the employees of any other major fast food chain. And the quality of the food is pretty good too. Edit: didn't see the "burger" comment.

Of the major national chains, I don't think there's any doubt that Wendy's ranks ahead of them all (with the possible exception of Subway.) There's always exceptions to the rule, but most Wendy's are fairly nice.

In-N-Out is the best!

I haven't eaten at BK in years.

McDonald's fries are the best so that makes up for the crappy service and subpar burgers.

Carl's Jr. I like too but there aren't out here, we have Hardee's instead which is pretty good too, just not quite the same.

Wendy's fries suq. :disgust:

Here, Carl's Jr is the worst service.
I won't go there anymore except in case of emergency :)

I like Burger King the best but Wendy's is the fastest. When you order at Wendy's they make your burger fresh in like 30 seconds, it's amazing.

In-N-Out is a family owned business. There are no franchises. Everybody who works there starts at the bottom sweeping floors and emptying trash cans. Managers have worked their way up through the ranks and are compensated very well. They have bonus programs like few other companies. They are expanding as quickly as they can without compromising the quality of their service nor their product.

I don't work for them, but I have had the pleasure of dealing with them in various capacities.

Out of the restaurants listed, I would have to say In-n-out. They probably won't get the most votes since they are primarily in California, but they do an exceptional job. On a side note, they do the most business out of the chains listed also. Funny how those two things go hand in hand...:)
