Sometimes. When I go to a used book store, I tend to spend a minimum of $50.00, and come home with bags of books. Sometimes I get one that I had checked out from the library before. No big deal, as I read so much that if something is good I tend to read it at least two or three times. I discovered I accidentally bought two used copies of the same book recently. I will just give the other away. Ninety-nine cent used paperbacks rock, if you're addicted to books like I am. 🙂

I'ver never bought a book and had that happen, but I've just picked up books or gotten them from the library and had it happen.

I've done it once. Fortunately it was a used book so it was a cheap mistake.

No, but if I really like a book, I'll usually buy a first edition of it, and get the dust jacket wrapped at a local shop.
