Never had eggnog w/ liquor in it. Only eggnog I like is the Borden eggnog that comes in the big can. I can't stand to drink the publix (local supermarket) eggnog, it tastes weird.
 
k, the only eggnog i've ever had was really, really, really sh!tty tasting. i've never had any again ever since.
 
I am going to the store now- lando' lakes eggnog is pretty good or however you spell it. Random aside: I bought land o' lakes butter from Walmart the other day and on the receipt it shows up as LOL BTR QTRS. LOL.
 
i MADE 4 gallons of it for thanksgiving...does that answer the question...

/btw, the recipe is really easy...
 
i like it , but i do not purchase it often or very much
i usually pour it half/half with milk to cut down the sweetness/thickness
