i love a little controversy, when people mix it up like this... i'm all for it; without controversy there isn't change. as long as they're not physically hurting other people, that is.

ELF has admitted firebombing forest service trucks and ranger stations here in Oregon.
As far as I know nobody was hurt in those incidents. But there were millions of dollars of damage done and there was certainly a reasonable chance that someone could have been killed.
Yes they are nuts and they should be locked up. I think several may have been convicted for those arsons. Not entirely sure though.

 
Eli is right, they make it hard for legitimate groups. We should hang these guys by the balls in an Old Growth Forest. How's that for a sit in!!:evil::beer:
 
There's a right and a wrong way to fight for your cause. ELF does it the very wrong way.
 
I am appalled at some of the comments you guys are making. I am a member of the ELF, and spend most of my waking hours dedicated towards it.

You do know that it's easy to lie on the internet? Maybe people don't even know or give a hoot what this post is about but just felt like adding their "no" vote to it? I do it sometimes lol.
 
I heard somewhere that burning one of these cars produces more noxious fumes than the SUV would in its lifetime with all of its smog controls anyways... Sounds believeable, I mean, there's some pretty nasty chemicals in plastics and rubber....
