i would imagine it's illegal if you're downloading episodes like the Sopranos or Curb Your Enthusiasm if you're not an HBO subscriber.

I think tivo had to add all sorts or crap to their contracts and machines to make sure they don't get sued. It just makes the show's harder to get off their machines, albiet not really..

i just got a pvr-250 and i'm done with bittorent .. for the most part 😉
