When I was in banking we bought the bad loans from other banks, mostly this happened at year end.
During these times it was not unusual for me to fly from Florida to various places around hte country (NYC, LA, BOSTON, etc) for 2-3 days then back to finish the deal and back out to another city for more loans.
If I was gone over a holiday, they would fly me back for that....most of these deals were last minute and many times I only had time to run home and grab a bag and hit the plane....sometimes I had to go buy luggage and suits at the mall it was so last minute.
I wish I did the airmiles thing....
