Poll: Does your CPU have a fan on it?

The last CPU that I felt comfortable running without a fan was a Pentium 75. The heatsink barely even got hot with that puppy. If only I could do that with my Athlon...

I hate those things, too damn loud.

My box is loud enough w/ the PSU and 3 HDDs.
 
I have my 1600+ @ 1900+ with a crappy fan that I paid $15.00 for. It actually came with a tube of thermal paste, and I think that it made all the difference.
 
A bit OT for the thread, but what can I replace the Golden Orb on my celeron 566 at 850 with that is quiet and still effective?

I've replaced my case fan and my PS fan with some impressively quiet Panaflows, but the noise from that Golden Orb still comes through.
 
What's a GC68?

Im running this sucker on an Abit "slotket" adapter. My MB is an Abit BH6 (old, I know, but it runs). I think there is plenty of room in front of the slotket/proc for a very "tall" heatsink, but not a "flat" one that would hang over the sides of the processor package.

I've got 3 CPU's without fans, an 8088, 386, and p200. 😉

Oh yeah and one Athlon with a noisy-ass fan... which actually I need to replace. 🙁

HAHA! I have a couple Deltas too! Wheeeeee!!!! 😀

Actually, they will be replaced by Panaflos soon. 🙂
