Some people have complained about my site (www.hikefordiabetes.org) crashing their browsers (NS 4.7 users only, I think).

I tried to redesign it with 800x600 browsers and no-javascript in mind. Anyone wanna check out the new version and let me know if it works fine for them?

Here is the new version: Second Version

thanks again :)

Both versions work fine, and they look great too (nice design). The 800x600 looks kinda crappy maximized on 1024x768 though.

I just tried both and neither one crashed my browser, but I use IE 5.5. Maybe Nutscrape 4.7 is suck.

I struck a compromoise. The screensize redirection script I had was (I think) crashing NS 4.7 browsers. I asked several people about the code in it, and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it, so I decided it had to go, and designed one page compatible w/800x600 and up.

Just tried it on my other box running Netscape 4.7 on Win2K. Allowed the intro to run. Then exited out and went back in. Clicked skip intro.

Works fine.

Using Winnt 4.0 WS, with IE 4.01, everything worked fine, but the intro kept replaying, is it supposed to do that? Nice intro!

ie5.5 win2k pro no problems at all.
opera 5.02 can't find a plugin for the intro, but page loads and looks fine.
NS 4.7 no problems, page looks and loads fine.
NS 6.0 essentially okay but the top of the updates and news section is slightly screwed. minor issue.
Amaya, eh well lets just say it's lucky no-one actually uses this browser.

Keep us updated Rob.
