I was wondering how many people care about NBA eastern conference basketball here? With the west being so dominant it seems easy to forget about the eastern conference.

I try to watch all the games. It's finals time and good way to procrastinate. :)

NOPE. i dont care much about the NBA. It seems most of the players are thugs. There really doesnt seem to be any "good" guys. the only one that kinda comes to mind is Shaq. Jordan was great. he played hard and had respect for other players off the cort.

Exactly. It's sad how the two conferences can't even compare... hmmmm.. they could restructure it like they did in the NFL... North vs South? ;)

the what? Isn't it the semi-finals right now? Whoever wins the next series between Lakers/Spurs Mavericks/Kings wins the championship right?

I'm sure people that live in the East care about their teams. It is still ok to be a fan of a team even if they stand no chance against the West.
Give it time and the East will be strong again....for most of the 90's the East dominated (Bulls) and now things are different, eventually things will change.

i would say the bulls dominated...not the east....the last east team to win that didnt have Jordan was the pistons in '90

the NBA finals are happening right now between the Spurs and Lakers.

i agree

I don't keep up with the NBA much outside of work. I much prefer college basketball. They seem more passionate.

so u watch a lot during work?

Nah, but I do a sports report for two stations. It's not a huge job at all, but I like to know what I'm talking about. I have to run the boards for a sports radio program, so I listen and keep up with what's going on.

nope. the eastern is kinda like a joke around me and my friends. i mean, we have fun watching the teams duke it out for championship of the eastern conference, but we know when the finals arrive, the east isnt quite the caliber of the western conference teams.
