Who isn't affected by advertising. We see it every day. If it's something that interests me I'll watch, listen, or click on it.
If not, I'll just ignore it.
I don't see advertising as necessarily wrong. It can make something free or less expensive.
Anandtech still makes most of it's money by advertising. If there was no advertising, then there would either be no Anandtech or a site where everything is pay...

Those that answered "no" are the ones that are most influenced by advertisements.

<No. I make a point of avoiding products based on their advertising. The more they advertise, the lower it goes on my list. This is especially so in regards to movies. The more a movie is hyped, the more I know it is going to blow. >

Advertising is beyond prevewing a movie or a cereal box. This forum is an advertisement, your car is an advertisement, the shows u watch are advertisements. Do you own name brands like Sony, Panasonic, Nike, etc? If so, you're affected by advertisement. If not, you're probably a bum who got access to these forums via a public library.

depends on what you mean. If I see a tv ad for some new burger at McDonalds I'm gonna go try it because I'm curious as to how it tastes but if I don't like it and I keep seeing the ad I'm not going to go buy it again just because of the ad.
