No. One of the first things you learn in real analysis is that there are different sizes of infinity. For example, there are more real numbers than rational numbers.

Edit: Caveat. The infinity for cardinalities of sets is technically different than the infinity in the extended real numbers, but it gets the point across.

Wait what? This question doesn't even make sense.

It doesn't make sense to add infinity and something. Infinity is *not a number*. It's a mathematical conept that helps us determine what happens when numbers get very large.

It's either way. The cironflexe on the o means that it used to be spelled os but the s isn't written anymore.

hôtel (fr) = hostel (fr) = hotel (en)
