I don't really care- I've got nearly 2000 posts which is almost enough for me. If I do 100 more posts before next Tuesday, I'll have 1000 posts in the last month alone! :Q

you're probably right about that... my posting has gone up dramatically as i have to sit in front of a computer and be ready when the phone rings. i'm told that soon i won't have much time between calls.
 
I just want to be loved and accepted by the AT masses. I would hope that my title wouldn't affect our close, family relationship.

Enjoy it while it lasts, then, a dead call queue (although boring) is better than one which is slammed.

The beauty of that job is if your phone says "Available" you're doing your job - No matter what web site you're reading, game you're playing, or where your right hand is.

Actually, that last one probably isn't advisable, but you get the idea.

Unless I have been here for about 4 years, I think I would find becomming a 'lifer' very depressing.
It's too bad that Anandtech doesn't have some kind of timer (like they used to on those dial up services . . .who knows, maybe they still do.) so that if I ever reach that point I can see just how many hours of my life AT has sucked from my existence 😉
