I pay $40 a month for cable, Timewarner's road runner. It's nice but i'm worried that they'll try to get me to use AOL now that Timewarner and AOL have merged.

Cable. I have RoadRunner in Orlando and the speed is pretty incredible. It's actually gotten faster lately.

My last DSLReports test showed 1800kbits down/400kbits up.

I usually get around 260KBytes/sec download speed.
At that speed, if I wanted to, I could download over 20GB of data in one day.

I've got Cable. After about 2 months, they finally were able to create a username for me. Which means they actually recognized me on the system (none of the techs could understand how I could access the internet without a username, but it happened anyway). Once all that got worked out, my downloads increased from 300 to 350-400 KB/s.

I have resnet at college. This means I have a 4,000kbps upload and download speed. However if I had to find my own ISP I'd choose SDSL because of the faster uploading speed and more stable connection.
