Poll: Do you use the word "gay" as a derogatory term to describe something?

Do you say gay while not meaning that the subject in question is neither a homosexual nor happy, but rather that it is stupid/bad/etc.?
 
yes but in referring to the act not the lifestyle. meaning if i say "that idea is gay" i mean i think that idea is as good as the idea of me porkin some guys rump. which is a realy bad idea to me.
 
No, it kind of bothers me when people do. If I'm around someone who does use it in a derogatory way, then I'll say stuff is "homosexual." Like if my friend says "That test was gay." Then I'll reply, "Yep, that was the most homosexual test I've ever seen!"
 
Many people use it as meaning stupid however I never used to use it until a year or two ago. I actually do not say it but I think it when it is a certain kind of stupid that does not appeal to me and I guess could be kind of "gay" (actually meaning homosexual.

An example would be anime. Guys who watch this stuff are so defensive about it if you try to say something bad about it. From what I can tell is that they just like spiky blue hair, 10 year old girls and big sparkly blue eyes. Is that gay or just stupid???

Used to in highschool. Then got over it.

I'd prefer to use "stupid" as a lot of the people I talk to at ISU are (but I bet not much as the people at Western, eh, FallenHero?😉), but not many of them are gay.

I suppose if I met a lot of stupid people and they happen to be gay, I'd start using the term. But no, homosexuals aren't dumber then the rest of us (i.e. there's a hellova lot of dumb gays, just like straight people).

Just stupid, 'cause good anime doesn't need defending. Although likely that specific anime being defended is gay 😀.
BTW, I voted yes, have a gay friend, and no problems.
Well, tons of problems, but none revolving around using the words gay, queer, lovely human, etc.
On a side note, I'll often use gay, queer, lovely human and ejaculate properly (and arcanely) in conversations just to mess w/ people 🙂.
